History

Applied Communications was founded by Tom Frahm in 1983. Having been promoted to management level at the data communications product manufacturer he worked for, Tom began to miss the part of the business he loved the most – the direct relationship he had with the customer as a sales representative. Originally, a one-man WAN manufacturer representative, Applied Communications has expanded its expertise and offerings through the years to meet the growing demands and evolution of the I.T. industry.

In 2006, the company was purchased by Tom’s daughter, Kristi Paul. Dedicated to the the tradition of providing customers with top-notch customer service and innovative, purpose-built solutions, Applied Communications continues to expand its knowledge base and offerings focusing on what moves, stores and secures data.

With a desire to extend the expertise we’ve acquired through over 25 years in the business, we are excited to introduce the newest addition to our offerings–Applied Services—our Managed Services arm.
